A little bit about CJ's

CJ’s Little Pickles started when Charrissa moved from being a primary school teacher into childminding; being a mum enabled her to appreciate the importance of having a caring and nurturing environment. Laura joined Charrissa and the childminding grew and grew which led to our nursery being opened.

What started as a small childcare business has now grown into a trusted name for families who want the very best for their little ones. With years of hands-on experience, we have built a reputation for creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where children can thrive and also have fun.

In April 2025, we took the exciting step by moving to our new location in Corringham, Essex. This dedicated space allows us to offer a wider range of activities in a welcoming environment designed specifically for children’s growth and development.

Every child is unique, and we celebrate their individuality through tailored activities that support growth at their own pace, in a space that’s safe, inclusive, and full of fun.

We’re so happy with our baby’s experience at this nursery! The team has such a personal and individual approach to every child, and with only six babies, it feels really cozy and caring. My baby is always well looked after, and the staff are so supportive — they even give me great advice and guidance. The space is always clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better start!

I am so happy and grateful that I choose this nursery for my little girl the teachers are so caring and attentive. It’s clear that every teacher loves what they do, they create such a nurturing, safe, and joyful environment for the children. The activities are always creative and engaging. The communication with parents is also fantastic I I always feel informed, involved, and reassured.
