Our vision

At CJ’s Little Pickles, we believe that all children should feel welcome, safe and respected. Our nurturing approach allows our little pickles to be creative, expressive and confident; all whilst building those all important friendships.

The early years should be filled with fun, discovery, and meaningful experiences. Our approach has both ‘in the moment’ learning and structure. Our children have daily story and singing time creating a secure and consistent routine in their day-to-day lives at the nursery.

I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my children! Charrissa and the team have been a massive part of our lives for the last 5 years, with both of our children and they have flourished within their care! Although my daughter was one of the youngest in the year staring reception, she could hold her own within her peer group and that wouldn’t have been possible without the love and nurturing she received before hand. Charrissa isn’t just a childminder, she’s a mum and I couldn’t ask for anything better!

My son joined CJs little pickles when he was just 9 months old. He is now 4. I viewed a few different nursery’s/childminders before but I just felt different when I met with Charissa. They treat the children like their own and I know he is safe and well looked after. Charissa and Laura are very understanding, always keep you informed during the day of activities your child has been doing and always try to help or give advice if needed. Benny loves them all and loves to go to nursery. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely love the nursery Ivy has settled in so well, we were a bit apprehensive putting her into a nursery but it’s like a home away from home! All staff are very loving and kind to Ivy she will go to them all for some cuddles! We get updates from all staff regularly and they all know something about Ivy 🥰 Ivy is always so happy when she comes home from playing with her little friends happy baby = happy mummy xxxx

I would highly recommend Pickles to anyone; my son has developed so much in the short space of time he's been there. I love it when he comes home and tells us all about the new things he's learnt that day/week. The passion from the staff really shine through too.

At CJ’s Little Pickles, every day is carefully planned to inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and support early development through a wide variety of activities. From arts and crafts to outdoor play, music, sensory exploration, story time and early numeracy, our sessions are designed to suit all interests and abilities.

We offer a balanced mix of child-led and guided experiences that help little ones grow in confidence, develop key skills, and most importantly, have fun while learning.
